My mum has baked this slice in various versions ever since i was a little girl and it is still my favourite slice in the world. Also in another version from a CWA cookbook called ‘coconut rough slice’.

An engaging weekend
Its a bit late in posting but I finally have put together some photos of my very engaging weekend.
December 4th 2009:
Wake up to a crystal clear blue hot summer day.
A suprise pre-engagement bike wrapped in ribbon.
A deserted beach under a lighthouse.
A noodle box and a gold branch engagement ring.
Duck pancakes in a deserted restaurant.
Kirra, beach, ride, and reliving childhood memories at pizza hut but with the most amazing view of the ocean and literally a hop skip and jump from the sand.
